Pangea Propulsion will use QuesTek’s ICMD platform to optimize alloys and improve performance in extreme aerospace environments.
QuesTek Innovations has welcomed Pangea Propulsion as the first European aerospace company to adopt its ICMD materials simulation software platform. Pangea will use QuesTek’s Materials by Design technology to support development and improve performance in extreme environments.
Pangea has partnered with ICMD and QuesTek to use their experience in developing materials for space applications. Their work includes advanced superalloys for high-temperature additive manufacturing and components used in reusable rockets, orbital return systems, and propulsion systems operating in extreme conditions.
Through ICMD, Pangea will be able to:
- Simulate and optimize alloys for harsh environments
- Accelerate development by minimizing trial-and-error testing
- Design with greater confidence in component durability and qualification readiness
- Reduce time-to-market by using predictive models to inform decisions from the outset
The collaboration reinforces QuesTek’s role as a key materials innovation partner across the global space industry, helping private and public sector organizations unlock performance, reliability, and reusability through materials engineered for mission-critical environments. Fast Company named QuesTek a 2025 Most Innovative Company in space.
